new year.

it's a new year...
with new challenges...
which i must face...
to survive...

The Christmas break is over. And I'm back to the old routine. But honestly, my mind does not exist within the walls of education at the moment. It's still drifting away. No lesson, no equation exists in my mind. I'm just daydreaming away without a care in the world. It's quite funny that I still continue to ask myself the same question over and over again...

"Was that a break?"...heck it seemed like another one of those long weekends.

Instead of having a break, my "energy-infested" self continued to do more and more activities. I didn't give myself a break.

It's quite sad actually. While most of my friends went on trips to their provinces or had xmas parties all over town, I was working out, tiring myself and force my systems to be on the go all the time. I was isolated from the world. People could either find me bored at home, rotting in the clinic, or travelling to and fro around the city doing research projects, cowering over modern ballet and forcing my brain to do kumon work.

I had a chance to go out with my friends. Although we didn't go out together as the evil threesome. It was either just me and Betty or me and Eprilog. Although last January 2 we did plan to go out together, unfortunately, Betty didn't excuse herself from her mom >_> oh well.

Hmmm...Christmas eve. We were invited to a party at my mom's bestfriend's house. Damn. Sag-skinned oldies were all around me. Amazing though that all of them were highly-respected doctors in their own speciality. So we just talked about trips around the USA and stuff. They were nice folks ^_^ ehehe. After the party we went back home to have the "second part" of the noche buena thing. I ate a lot in the party, but i still ate a lot at home XDD. It was a silent yet annoying dinner actually. Annoying, due to the fact that my cousins were there ruining the christmas ambience in the house. Anyways, gift opening. Simple. Plain. Ordinary. Well, all I received from my ninangs, relatives and friends were...clothing. Although they just gave me clothing, I liked them at some point XDD. At least I got new clothes now XDD. Most of them were from Bayo. Others were from Kamiseta and Guess. And I got 20 bucks from our friend in Calgary, Canada. wheee. moolah. XDD

New Year's Eve...LOL...man...did I get drunk. My grandfather served us this Spanish champagne, which I drank about 3-5 glasses of. Yeah, just 3-5 glasses...BUT...I drank them all STRAIGHT. Who wouldn't feel doozey about that XDD.
